Achieving the perfect smile is an investment, but how long does it take to straighten your teeth and how will the treatment itself affect your lifestyle?  When considering teeth straightening the best option is the one that fits with you, and your lifestyle.

The traditional metal brace, sometimes known as the ‘train track’ brace, can conjure up all sorts of negative images and potential disadvantages - can you eat, can you continue to play sports or, what happens if you have a special occasion that you want to look your best for?

Whether you are looking for a discreet and gradual orthodontic treatment such as Invisalign® Clear Aligners, or a system that focuses on a quick and efficient treatment journey such as FASTBRACES,  Dr Rez Dental Care offer teeth straightening options that work with you!

The Invisalign® Option

Invisalign is a gradual method of straightening teeth, this orthodontic treatment uses a series of custom-made clear trays called aligners. Almost invisible, comfortable, and removable, the aligner won't interfere with your lifestyle!  It can treat a wide range of orthodontic concerns, including crooked teeth, gaps, and overcrowding.

You will be supplied with a series of customised aligners, wearing one set of aligners for approximately two weeks before exchanging them for the next set in the series. Your teeth will move little by little, week by week until they have straightened to the final position. Typically, you will wear your Invisalign aligners for a total of 9-15 months and the number of aligners worn during Invisalign treatment is usually between 18 and 30, depending on the individual case.  The beauty of the Invisalign system is not only is it extremely discreet, but if you do need to remove an aligner for any reason this can be done – any time!

The FASTBRACES® Option

FASTBRACES uses breakthrough technology designed to cut out the two-step process of traditional braces whilst still delivering beautiful results. With traditional fixed metal braces some time is spent moving the crowns of the teeth into position and then the roots of the teeth are moved into place.  As you can imagine both stages of the treatment take time and the process can be quite lengthy. FASTBRACES technology begins straightening the root to an upright position from day one, meaning the entire tooth is moved in one phase.

The patented method of FASTBRACES uses only one wire from start to finish and makes treatment for many patients so efficient that it may even be completed in less than 100 days.  Both Invisalign and FASTBRACES revolutionise the way we straighten teeth today – if you would like to discuss either option further then book a consultation with Dr Rez Dental Care today!
